General Note
The altarpiece represents the assumption and glorification of the Virgin, and originally decorated the chapel of St. Thomas in the cathedral of Frankfurt am Main. It was commissioned by Jakob Heller.
On the verso of the half-title (Le tableau d'autel de Heller) is printed 'Tiré à quatre cents exemplaires sur papier vergé de Hollande.'
