500 # # $a This publication accompanied the completed four series of Nash's tinted lithographs of views of English houses. Each of the four series contain 27 leaves, lithographed throughout. The lithographed title leaf of each volume is followed by a leaf bearing a dedication statement on the recto and a list of subjects on the verso, followed by 25 lithographed plates of the houses. The Descriptions of the plates contains a table of contents, followed by letterpress text arranged by series noting the dedicatee of each series, an introduction to the series and descriptive text for each illustration. The printer statement is found on the verso of the title-page (London: Printed By Reynell And Weight, Little Pulteney Street.) and the base of the final page (Printed by Reynell and Weight, 16 Little Pulteney street, Golden square.).
