This is a photocopy of the original in the Sir John Soane's Museum Library (ref. no. 2761). The original, a folded broadside, was printed with parallel title and text in French and German. It was an advertisement for a print of the monument engraved and published by Chrétien de Mechel. Mechel was a Swiss engraver who had worked in France and returned to Basel in 1787.
