Summary Note

The plates show both black-figure and red-figure vases - depicting Greek myths, or symposia and other domestic scenes. The first plate shows a general view of the collection.

The plates are printed in three colors - black, bistre and white.

Lamberg sold his ancient Greek vases to Francis I, Emperor of Austria, in 1815.
