The fourteen plates show a portrait-head of Leonardo da Vinci, and the heads of Christ and the twelve Apostles, from Leonardo's painting of the Last Supper, made for the Convent of Sta. Maria delle Grazie in Milan in 1495-7. There is one in-text illustration, which shows the painting as a whole.
