The Notice reads, 'Every Student, on his admission, will be furnished with a copy of the Laws relating to the Schools, the Library, and the Students; with which Laws he is expected to make himself thoroughly acquainted, that he may at no time plead ignorance, in excuse for any violation of them.'

Although set as an octavo, this large paper copy has been printed as a quarto.
