Provenance

The title-page carries on its verso the contemporary bookplate of 'J.Brand AM· FSA Coll Linc Oxon'. The front pastedown carries the 19th-century bookplate of R.L. Watson. The front loose endpaper is inscribed in pencil on its verso 'S.A.H. (1877)' [i.e. Solomon A. Hart, R.A. and the Academy's librarian].

Binding Note

19th-century half green morocco, green cloth-covered boards; brown morocco spine-labels lettered 'Bewick I' and 'History Of Quadrupeds', spine lettered 'R.A.' and '1790'.
