Most plates are signed as designed and drawn by De Moltzheim (pl. 2 as after A. Touchemoulin, and pl. 29 as after H. Vernet). Most are signed as lithographed by E. Simon, of Strasbourg; but several, as printed by Aug. Bry at Paris. The first plate (added title-plate) carries the name of the publisher J. Rothschild.

The colophon of the 'Tableaux De La Composition Des Troupes De L'Artillerie ...' reads, 'Strasbourg, Imprimerie typo-lithographique de E. Simon.'

The text printer is named on the half-title verso: 'J. Claye, imprimeur r. St Benoit 7. à Paris'.
