A catalogue of the valuable collection of original drawings, designs and pictures, the labour of many years' close appreciation, and unremitting study of that ingenious artist, Mr. Thomas Malton, Dec. comprising an extensive assemblage of views of the principal buildings in London, Westminster, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, &c. &c. many of them enriched with figures by the late W. Hamilton, Esq. R. A. Also a collection of tinted etchings in imitation of drawings, together with many valuable copper plates, with their impressions; loose drawings, sketches and prints, a piano forte by Beck; a model for a theatre, drawing boards, &c. which (by order of the executor,) will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at the Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, May 4, 1804, and following day, at twelve o'clock.
This is a photocopy of the original in the Sir John Soane's Museum Library (ref. no. 2716). The printer of the catalogue was found at the bottom of page 12, 'J. Smeeton, Printer, 148, St. Martin's Lane.'
