Content Description
Sending thanks for Humphry's bills amounting to £40 but is disappointed that he shall not see Humphry soon, and hopes the Poggi's will prevail upon him to bring them; the Misses Lewis have returned to western Devon, after a two month absence in Exeter on account of problems with Miss Maria's eyes, she was under the care of Mr. Patch.
The fleet has sailed and sixteen Prizes are now anchored in the harbour, mostly French merchant-men; Plymouth is by consequence full, many sleep in their post-chaises.
