He unable to pay a visit to Bath because of the appraoching Honiton election; Sir George Yonge has opposition but is determined to win, giving 15 guineas a head; the opposer is Mr. Bacon, a London merchant seen as a tool of the government, a board has been set up saying "Yonge and Property, No to Cyder Tax"; he claims that some think his satires too bold.
