The Duke of Dorset has received an appointment, but the present state of politics does guarantee its duration, Mr. Stone will go as his private secretary. He cannot help but wish the Duke had tkane the job of Lord Chamberlain. Mrs. Acton has not had improved health, although in the country. He hopes Humphry will send the picture of the Woodgates soon.
