He still regrets not seeing Chartres and envies Clausen, who has just returned from France. He very much enjoyed the work sent by Clausen in the last consignment.
Streeton has been complaining in the press about the purchasing policy of the National Gallery. He says they should be buying more local work, and turns up every two years witha cargo-hold full of work.
He reccomends sending some etchings to Gill, who runs the best gallery in Melbourne.
