Content Description
He playfully urges Humphry not to throw the five guineas he sends into the fire. The money is part payment for the frame and materials, full payment being £10. He asks to be portrayed in a red coat, as this is the demand of the eventual owner of the picture. He soon leaves for India from Portsmouth. The picture should be sent to John Lowe, Newton, near Middlewick, Cheshire.
