Content Description

He has sent many letters to Humphry, and is sad to learn of Humphry's ill-health in Lucno. He would rather Humphry returned home without a fortune than risk his health. He and his family are in good health and expecting a fourth child, with a long life he will be able to provide for them all. The Duke of Dorset has returned from Paris. Continues with news of other acquaintances. Miss Acton is to marry a man ten years her junior, which is a matter of great comment. He informs Humphry of the change in affections of [Mary Boydell], and supplies his thoughts on the matter, which verge on the rancorous. He lays blame at the feet of the Uncle and brother.
