Content Description

London is a city under seige, one may be "blown to atoms" at any moment. The press is made to lie, but the government is silly as Berlin knows everything immediately, if not before. He thinks politicians knaves and fools, using initials C.F. Pty.[?] and R. M[ac]D[onald], who he thinks should be interned with Laslo "and their German friends". He thinks the King should proclaim War Strike leaders as traitors. If one was shot it would save hundreds of lives at the front and at sea. L[loyd] G[eorge's] speech was good, if he meant it. Aeroplane war is the thing of the of the future. England can no longer rely on being insular for protection. Family news.
