Content Description
He has just arrived. Recapitulates his experience of Naples this time around. When abroad he likes to get away form the English and the "middle classes" and slum it with the local poor. Before long he boards the steamer Morroco and then describes his voyage to Patra, where the tribes of Greece still congregate, some not looking too trustworthy. The day after arriving he caught a local steamer to Corinth, spending the night in a small port on the way. He describes his impressions of rural Greece and then his final arrival in and early impressions of Athens.
