He thinks the storm will soon blow over. He has got the big window drawing finished. He goes down to Sussex soon, M[argaret] W[rightson] will be there and they will be up with the lark to draw outside. She has completed a magnificent bust of her other. Ernest's mother is strained by the comings and goings. Arthur gets on well at S[outh] K[ensington]. Discusses his work relating to the siting of Electric Power Stations ans smoke abatement. He has presented one of his drawings of Bismark to the King to be kept with the Windsor Library drawings collection. The King was struck my his monument to the Gladstones at Hawarden. He is sure he has secured Ernest's election to the R.I.B.A.
