Content Description

Discusses his meetings with Miss Martin at the Hullah's, and his feeling about her. The picture is getting on well. He has not been well and papa has insisted that he not go to the R.A. in the evening, so he devotes himself to anatomy. He has just read an interesting book, Wilkinson's Ancient Egypt. He has been drawing some of the Assyrian sculptures in the British Museum. Fred. Gurney called, having grown a beard almost as big as that of Walter Severn. He has written a chant, for which he includes the score.
