Content Description

He apologies for the delay in his writing and gives his justifications. He describes his station at Monjhyr. The views of the hills was what made him stop his palanquin and camel in the first place, a welshman cannot be away from the hills for long. Speaks of his visit to Lucknow in less than glowing terms. Fyslabad[sic] pleased him rather more.

He has received a letter of recommendation for Lord Cornwallis from Lord Grosvenor and Mrs. Boscawen.
