The page has pasted to it several newspaper cuttings.

Firstly, a brief critique, concerning works by Sir William Beechey.

Secondly, a sales catalogue cutting, for a volume of Discourses by Sir Joshua Reynolds, first edition presentation copies bound into a volume, along with the first discourse of Benjamin West.

Thirdly, a sales catalogue cutting, lot 3075, a volume of newspaper cuttings relating to exhibitions and artists of the period 1792-1813. Anderdon notes that the cutting is from "Thorpe's catalogue, 1836, and that he looked for the volume but it had been sold.

Fourthly a paragraph on the opening of the Academy, lamenting the loss of Reynolds, but praising the efforts of Gainsborough Dupont.

Fifthly a brief paragraph on the loss of Reynolds and the signs of genius in young artists.
