His brother Andrew is suffering from a prostate problem, not the stone as thought, he meditates briefly on pain; he agrees with Farington's encapsulation of Mr. T's [Turner?] character, who he thinks imagines himself "a man of wit and spirit about town"; discusses events relative to the Queen's trial, Lord Erskine will never again be Chancellor, he reserves particular scorn for Brougham; he comments on the conduct of the King, intelligence received from "His Grace".
