Read at meeting of Council of 7 August 1802. The Secretary had been requested at the meeting of 17 July 1802 to find out from Banks why he had placed the figures (of which no notice had been given) in the Antique Academy.

Banks describes the background to the decision to prepare casts of figures on crosses moulded from the anatomised body of an executed murderer, for the use of students at the Academy.
