He describes his stay in Florence and Parma; Edward, his servant fell ill so he has stayed for five weeks; Lord Burghersh has been very kind and so he painted a small oil painting of Lady Burghersh with her child; he describes the pictures he has seen at Florence and his dealings with the Academy there, sums up with his high opinion of Reynolds; speaks of his meeting with the Duchess; he hopes Mr. West is well, he asks to be remembered to the members of the [Academy] Club.
