Content Description
Sending thanks for the munificent gift of volumes. He apologises for causing the printer trouble and promises to send a clear transcript of the manuscript, he asks that they look over the impressions of the plates as they progress.
He thinks the coronation will pass off very quietly in Hastings. The [population takes little notice of anything requireing coin, perhaps they will scrape together "a few pounds to give the old women a cup of tea".
