He has made enquiries and Count Parisani is Consalvi's nearest surviving relative; the Duchess of Devonshire is well and happy, she and the Duke are to stay in Rome for a while; he congratulates Lawrence on the public acquisition of the Angerstein collection; he hopes Mr. Day will make it to Rome to organise Lawrence's purchase of the Raphael drawing at Spoleto, however his brother will not part with his; Lawrence should soon receive some ultramarine and casts of the small bronze Madonna and Child by Michelangelo; he mentions a sketch by Sebastiano del Piombo from Michelangelo's dream; he discusses the likehood that Mr. Wicar might part with some Raphael drawings of his own.
