Firstly part of a critique of the 1787 Academy exhibition, including notice of Benjamin West, [John] Graham and P.J. de Loutherbourg, [John] Downman, [Conrad Martin] Metz, [Johann Heinrich] Ramberg, Gardnor, [Joseph] Bonomi, S. Robinson and G. Meredith.

Secondly court reportage (1797) concerning [George] Garrard vs. Dan. George Stubbs is called as a witness. The Judge finds for Garrard.

Thirdly a short paragraph praising the patronage of George III for Macklin's Bible.

Thirdly a notice announcing the birth of a child to "the Lady" of Thomas Hammersley.

Fourthly brief notes on the progress of West's Windsor pictures; the completion of a print of Romney's Henderson as Macbeth; and that a new monument to James Harris is by Nollekens.

Finally, from The World, praising John Flaxman as he departs to Rome.
