She values the interest that Spielmann may take in the bust of Alfred Gilbert now underway in the hands of
Mr. Toft. She feels that Gilbert should be represented in late middle life and that his hands should be included. She would like to donate it to the
National Portrait Gallery and not leave it to the mercy of the R.A., who passed up the chance of acquiring 'Icarus' for the nation.
