The volume contains the following loosely inserted item: unsigned note [written in pencil] addressed [to the secretary?] suggesting, on behalf of the committee, that, as certain members (perhaps deeming it unnecessary as it was a special exhibition) had not contributed on the evening of 13th ulto., the gentlemen in question be requested to contribute on 10th inst, and that collectors be instructed to call at their respective residences, unless they expressed their wishes to the contrary, [c. 1860].
