Her doctor has said she should not go to Milton that summer; she discusses the arrangements for the Milton estate, her nephew Ruthven Pym is to occupy the Manor House with his family; the photographs of her brother's picture have given pleasure to many people; asks why her portrait shouldn't be similarly treated; she hopes he will not colour Lady Leven's photograph; Lady Leven wants him to undertake Ronald's instead; she has advised Lady Leven to give up on Richmond and use Millais, but was told he would ask 2,000gns and would not be half as like as Richmond would make him.
