The portrait arrived just after her last letter; she admires it greatly and thinks it outshines [a portrait by] Mengs, she has started to copy it, she drags the names of Cimabue, Leonardo da Vinci and Correggio into the debate; details her daily occupations and frequent visits to the opera and the theatre, mentions Milico, the singer; describes an amusing scene at one theatre involving Mr. Dean, Mr. Moli and the Contessa d'Abani; Mr. Edwards has received a disappointment that she is not allowed to discuss; Zoffany has begun another portrait, which she hopes to see the next day; compliments to Mr. Trachem.
