Content Description

He is disappointed that there is no time for his son to sit for his portrait; he has liked Richmond's work since seeing it in Somerset House; admired the full-length of Holroyd and prefers Richmond's work to that of Landseer, mentions portraits of the Duke of Buccleugh [sic] and Prince Albert (neither by Landseer); further praises Richmond portraits; he wants a full-length portrait, his son will not fatigue Richmond; he would also like news of his brother.
