Incomplete draft letter, in which Gibson, while quoting the praise of a Greek poet for unadorned beauty, advises his correspondent to to have [her] "pretty little figure adorned with chaste ornaments". He then praises her talent and modesty; comments on the summer heat; informs his correspondent that he was about leave for Switzerland; and mentions [the sculptor Benjamin Evans] Spence.
