Gibson states that the statue of 'Sta Cicilia' at Rome was by Stefano Maderna, while the small copy that the recipient of the letter had purchased at Gibson's studio was by his workman Albino Troiani, who was very happy to hear all Gibson's correspondent had said concerning his work.
