Content Description

Gibson describes a visit to the Hippodrome in Paris. He had also visited an oculist in Paris, who had given him advice about his eye. He reports a conversation with [Charles] Barry about the recess in the new Parliament house in which his statue of Queen Victoria was to be placed.
