Copy letter. Gibson regretted that any impediment still existed to completion of the monument to
Mrs Huskisson. He could not attend the meeting of the dean and chapter on 16 October, because he hoped to be at Rome at that time. He declined to make any payment whatever for the place allotted for the monument.
