The mailcoach carrying his letter also carries Mr. Ruspini and his friend Mr. Rigby. He is glad to say that Mr Ruspini is quite recovered, "unless a certain substance is started", he would be grateful if this news could be passed to Mrs. Ruspini. He would have written to her if Mr Radford had not sent his letter in that night's post. All agree that Mr Ruspini has the kindest disposition, although he "caries more sail than ballast". The financial aspects are all settled.
