Complaining of his treatment at the hands of the hanging committee for the
Royal Academy exhibition, they have hung only one of his works and two are missing; he opines on his good behaviour and success while a student of the Academy and that he has never belonged to other London art institutions (except for an informal group of Architects); he also complains that the catalogue states he is a member of the "Irish Academy" by omitting "Royal".
