He could not execute Humphry's charge concerning the Arms, as his journey took him no further west than Exeter. Had he got to Barnstable he could have seen the grandson of Sir Ns. Hooper who would have cleared the matter up. "Poor fellow" he is dead, his name was Hooper Morrison, a clergyman.
