Content Description
Note from Fergusson to Brooke, without whom he would "not have seen the show". The note is written on a magazine article relating to Fergusson's work, and is accompanied by a covering letter from Angus Morrison, 132 Holland Park Avenue, W.11., to Brooke, dated 28 October [1960]. Morrison states that Fergusson wished to convey his warmest thanks to Brooke for making it possible for him to see the [Sir] Matthew Smith [Exhibition] "under such ideal and interesting conditions." Morrison states that Fergusson was beginning to show his age, although two or three years earlier, his vitality had been amazing.
