The sketch was sent to Burnet probably so that he could include a ship in his 'Greenwich Pensioners Commemorating the Anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar, 1835'.
Content Description
Sending a pen and ink drawing of a frigate [on one page of the letter] in response to a request from Burnet. Schetky adds in postscript that he has been rather careful about the rigging, as Burnet's picture "will be look'd at by the sailors."
