Content Description
Rose recalls being allowed by Gibson to see the contents of his studio. He now solicits the same favour for a friend of his, Charles Monro, formerly a student of Christ Church. He expresses delight at having recognised Gibson's 'Psyche' in the exhibition [of the Royal Academy] at Somerset House: the same statue that they had seen under Gibson's hands at Rome, and which now attracted general admiration.
