Content Description

Asking Eaton to make known certain details concerning the late John Foley, RA at the meeting due to be held that evening, which Grant was unable to attend, to elect a member in Foley's place. Grant wished Eaton to inform the members on his behalf that the dispute that had separated Foley from the Academy had been entirely removed before his last illness. Foley had been prevented by that illness from finishing a group, which he had intended to send to the next exhibition.
