She was pleased with his letter and he shares their feelings about the natives, Coley hates them being called savages; Joanna has gone to Teingmouth with Coley's letters; if he can not get the drawings done she can apply to Mr. Boxall or to Mr. John Horsley; her brother suggests Jane Coleridge but Patteson thinks she is not up to the task; thanks him for his mention of the 'Nobody's' drinking her father's health; she is sorry to hear of his illness and inability to work.
