Content Description

Shes asks that when he has final news of the Grenville business he send it to her via Mr. Durno at Rome, without Mr. B's knowledge; the "Reverend Father in God etc etc etc" [Bishop of Derry] has returned the Cupid when nearly complete, with the weak excuse that a holy man should not have a naked figure in his house; all of these troubles have thrown Mr. B. into a fever; their prospects at Rome are worse than in England. She is now nursing her husband and their daughter; she suspects Humphry's case is at some warehouse in Leghorn.
