Read at Council meeting of 31 October 1821, and the resolution passed that the work be accepted. The statue of Eve was still listed in Academy catalogues in 1836 as Baily's diploma piece, but by the time of the winter exhibition of 1873, his bust of '
'John Flaxman' was listed as his diploma work instead.
