He asks Humphry to check whether his sister received the letter enclosing a bankers note. The mother of Humphry's friend, Mr. Palmer, died recently after accidentally setting herself on fire with a candle. Bath is currently very full, notables include Lord Ashburton, Mulgrave and Nugent, he thinks Humphry's portrait of Mulgrave very like. He recently met with Sir Joshua [Reynolds] in Bath, at the concert. His work on painting a ceiling is nearing completion.
