Content Description
The letter refers to the accumulation of surplus money arising from the occasional non-awarding of the Armitage Prize. Armitage thinks it undesirable that the money should be used to institute another prize, and instead recommends that the surplus should be paid into the RA general fund, or used by the judges to award a duplicate first or second prize.
