Content Description
Sends a copy of a letter from his agents in Bengal which makes it clear he has not received payment from the Nabob. Sir John can have no claim to the pictures until they are paid for. He assures Sir John that when he brought the law suit against him in India, he was quite unaware of the way in which he was arrested. He refers to their conversation in Spring Garden passage.
