Content Description

He has received the letter in which Humphry expresses his disappointment at the change in feeling of Miss B.. He has received a legal opinoin in which it is thought unlikely that Humphry can succefully bring an action against Mr. M. P.. The papers were brought by Mr Greenland, emplyed by Humphry's brother as Mr Acton died two weeks before their arrival. Captain Urmston says it may be August before he hears of the order from China.

He has received a letter from the mother of D[elly] W[ickers] saying that her daughter had died of a "putrid fever" but that the boy [William Upcott] is well.
